Nursing Home Resident Physically Abused

Criminal charges have been lodged against a former nursing home worker for physically abusing an 88-year-old wheelchair-bound resident in the nursing home that resulted in a broken clavicle and other injuries. The complaint stated that he man admitted that he struck, grabbed and pushed an 88-year-old bedridden woman who was suffering form dementia and impaired vision. Nursing home staff noticed that the resident’s extensive injuries and notified their superiors. In addition to suffering from facial bruising, the complaint alleges that the resident sustained a fractured right clavicle.
