Nursing Home Not Caring for Patients

A neighbor observed that a nursing home was negligent when they saw residents wandering the streets at night. After picking the elderly man up from the middle of the street, the neighbor walked him to the home to confront them on what had happened. The nursing home claimed no elderly negligence stating that they would not allow residents to wander the streets, but a subsequent investigation found different information. Sheriff’s records from the law three months show that at least three missing persons reports had been made at the nursing home. It had also been cited for 50 pages of deficiencies. Wandering can be common with the elderly, and it is the duty of the nursing home to ensure their safety. To read more about the negligent nursing home, please click the link.
