Nursing Home Employee Charged with Rape

The police have charged an attendant who works at the nursing center with two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a patient who lives at the nursing home. The man will be held without a bail until a bail hearing in 10 days after the nursing home abuse. The police were alerted when the director of the nursing home called to report that the patient told her that day that she had been raped that prior evening. The 56-year-old patient had a medical condition that has incapacitated her. The patient was able to identify the man who sexually assaulted her as an attendant who works at the nursing home.
