Nursing home blamed in resident’s death

A medical malpractice suit has been filed against a West Virginia nursing home. The 77-year-old resident, who suffered from dementia, lived in the nursing home for almost two years. In that span, the family asserts that he suffered from “pneumonia; dehydration; pressure sores; multiple fractures; malnutrition; contractures; loss of weight; and death.” The family claims that the wrongful death was due to negligent medical care.
