Man Held in His Mother’s Suspicious Death

A man was taken into custody in connection with what police believe is a suspicious death of his mother. When Meals on Wheels went to deliver food to the elderly woman they believe that the elderly woman was asking for water. They went there again and did not receive an answer. When they went back the son answered the door, took the food and shut the door. The Meals on Wheels staff member called Adult Protective Services. The police had to force entry into the home, and when they entered the door the son immediately stated “Hey, I think my mother’s dead.” They found the elderly woman dead in the home. There were no obvious signs of foul play. The son was taken into custody for observation as a possible danger to himself or others. The results of the autopsy from the wrongful death are still pending. To read more about the elderly death, please click the link.
