Man Dies in Possible Case of Nursing Home Abuse Near Chicago

The death of a nursing home resident in the village of Burnham, a southern suburb of Chicago, may be a result of nursing home abuse. Thomas Donovan, a resident at Burnham Terrace nursing home, died on April 1 from injuries he sustained during an altercation, possibly at the nursing home. Burnham police have determined his death was a homicide but did not say whether his injuries occurred at the home.
