Ex Nursing Home Aide Admits to Nursing Home Abuse

A former nursing home aide has pled guilty to three counts of disorderly conduct against vulnerable adults. The 25 year old aide pled guilty to three of the six original elder abuse counts against her. Two of the victims of her elder abuse are dead and some others have dementia. The aide admitted wrongdoing against three residents of the nursing home. Among other allegations, the complaint alleged sexual humiliation of one elderly man, laughing and screaming at residents and hurting a resident by poking into a cancerous wound. This despicable behavior is seen at nursing homes across the country, including here in Chicago, Illinois. To read more about the elderly abuse, please click the link.
