Elder Justice Act of 2009

The US Congress has proposed the Elder Justice Act in the US Senate. The purpose of the Elder Justice Act is to ensure adequate public-private infrastructure to prevent, detect, treat, intervene in, and prosecute elder abuse, neglect and exploitation.
