A 90-year-old Steger, Illinois man was allegedly found duct-taped taped to his living room chair. The man had wrongfuly died from dehydration and elder abuse. The police chief was alerted to the case after paramedics transported the senior to the local hospital. The police chief believes that elder abuse over the weekend caused his death. The medical office ruled the elderly man’s death a homicide. Police also retried a dog leash from the home that had been used to bind the man’s legs.
