72 year-old Man Starves to Death in Nursing Home

A man suffering from dementia was starved to death by his nursing home staff. Since the 72-year-old man suffered from dementia, he required round the clock full-time professional nursing care. He had only been a resident for 21 days when his kidneys and brain shut down. The family has filed a suit claiming nursing home abuse and neglect was the cause of his wrongful death. In the elderly abuse lawsuit the family alleges the nursing home staff’s abuse and neglect caused him to lose 20 pounds and 10 liters of water resulting in his death from extreme dehydration.
