Bond Set in Nursing Home Murder Case

Bond was set at $500,000 for a nursing home resident accused of brutally murdering his roommate at All Faith Pavilion. The man charged with the murder suffers from extreme dementia. He was found sitting outside his room with blood on his shoes and hands. The case demonstrates the general failures of nursing homes throughout the country to monitor and supervise their residents. All Faith in particular has been cited by the Illinois Department of Public Health on multiple occasions for deaths related to neglect.
