State investigating whether woman’s death caused by nursing home abuse
The Kentucky Attorney General’s office is investigating a suspicious death at a nursing home. According to the victim’s family, the 86 year-old victim was doing fine physically according to her family’s attorney when her health took a sudden turn in early July. A month later, she died apparently because of an insulin injection she was never supposed to get. The Attorney General’s office says it’s focused on figuring out whether the 86 year-old victim’s death was caused by nursing home abuse and neglect.
