Illinois nursing home abuse lawsuit filed in Lake County after resident was molested
An Illinois nursing home abuse lawsuit was recently filed in Lake County alleging that a Lake County-owned nursing home neglected an 82 year-old woman resident with dementia. The nursing home allowed repeated, unsupervised visits by a man who later admitted to sexually molesting the 82 year-old resident. The man was sentenced to probation last month.
The Lake County spokeswoman declined to comment on the Illinois nursing home abuse and neglect lawsuit, but did add that the nursing home launched new employee training policies.
