Beware of mandatory arbitration agreements in long term care contracts
Arbitration contracts force long term care consumers to settle abuse and neglect cases through arbitration and deny the opportunity for fair and Constitutional civil justice procedures or jury trial. Victims in the most need of compensation are significantly harmed by these agreements because the damages they deserve will be considerably limited.
