Shawnee Christian Nursing Center - St., Herrin, IL – 3/23/06

Failed to protect a resident from sexual abuse. A facility staff member who witnessed the alleged inappropriate sexual behavior directed toward a resident and did not tell the facility for three days.

The Illinois Department of Health produces quarterly reports on nursing home violators.
