Fined $20,000 for failure to protect a resident, who sustained burns to 30 percent of body during a bath. Staff failed to report their observations that water was hotter than usual after maintenance was done weeks before the resident was burned.
The Illinois Department of Health produces quarterly reports on nursing home violators.
