Nursing assistances per patient statistics from National Center for Health Statistics
A study from the National Center for Health Statistics shows that between 1985 and 1995, there was a 14% increase in the number of nursing assistants per 100 residents (35 to 40 nurses per 100 residents) compared with an 8% increase in residents needing assistance.
