Illinois nursing home neglect leads to incident at Cahokia Nursing and Rehab Center
An Ihttp://www.levinperconti.com/lawyer-attorney-1088032.htmlllinois nursing home, Cahokia Nursing & Rehab Center, was fined for failure to prevent a resident from leaving the facility unnoticed. The resident, who was admitted to the facility the day before the incident, was assessed as being at risk for leaving the facility unsupervised and was fitted with an electronic monitoring. Staff did not recall hearing an alarm sound at the time the resident exited the facility and the device did not trigger the alarm when the resident was returned. He was fitted with a new device.
