Illinois Nursing Home Abuse Blog

Another case of Illinois nursing home negligence occurred when a resident fell and hit her head. The facility’s own policy called for forty hours of neurological assessment after a head injury. However, the staff only performed the neurological assessment for four hours. The resident died the next day from a blood clot near the brain.
